Gum Tree is about 4km out of town; watch out for the signs. A quiet park operated by a dynamic couple who are very welcoming and helpful. Sites are grass, some under shady trees. Water is either bore or rain water tank - there is no town water. Amenities are modern but water from the shower creeps out into the drying area. It takes a minute for hot water to come through the shower. The step up to the ladies is very difficult to see at night. The camp kitchen is well supplied and has a television. There is a massive dog run area at the back of the park. Historic Port Fairy is nearby and it's not much further to the Irish town of Koroit and then on to Warrnambool,
