A pleasant park with plenty of space to exercise the dog. Wildlife is abundant with peacocks, ducks and the like and a lake at which you can try your fishing skills. Has a restaurant attached however we did not take advantage of it. Amenities were clean. Although this park is a little way out of town (not that far) the $40pn made it a much better choice than the park closer in not withstanding that the other park may be considered a little better. This park was a little hilly but we managed to be given a site that was quite okay. The other park was also hilly. All in all, this is a reasonable park to stay at. There appeared to be a few permanents.

We returned to this park after many years. Nestled in the valley overlooking Jubilee Lake the attraction is its location. While it does not have the commercialised settings of the big parks that have all the mod cons, the upgrades are a big improvements like good water pressure, robust power poles and drainage. There are still many annual sites but there are more tourist sites than we remember. Amenities are reasonably modern and well maintained. The park has a camp kitchen, dump point and good playground. For those who like birds the peacocks and ducks are friendly and will accept hand feeding - please wild bird seed only. Ok, we paid $40/n on a powered site. Unpowered are also offered as well as onsite accommodation of cabins and caravans. The kiosk has meals and snacks during the day. It was well worth the return visit and yes it is dog friendly. Vibrant Daylesford is about 1.5km from the park.
