There was no soap in the two dispensers over the four days we were there. I did not tell reception because I wanted to see if they were refilled. We backed onto cabins where I had to tell one group to shut the noise at 2am. I reported it to reception the next day because that same group stayed that night as well. It would have been nice to have an after-hours contact so I could have dealt with it earlier. There was no watering of sites while we were there so any grass was generally crispy brown. It seems a nice park on the outside but all the niggedly things put us off. Would not stay here again.
Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints. Good value for money $28 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to all sites, cleanliness was average, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, basic rec room, basic camp kitchen, dump point, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 4. Noisy, open & roomy park, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Dirty UC gas BBQs are free. Good playground, in good condition. Clean pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families.
Disliked:- Cleanliness of the amenity cubicles was good but the ceiling has not been cleaned in ages. The two bbqs were filthy and not just from the last user. No after-hours contact so I could not report the noisy cabin at 2am.
Local Information:- Serpentine Falls is less than 3 kms away, along the road behind the park.
