Friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff helped us at the site. Good value for money $30 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. No rec room, basic camp kitchen, dump point, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 3. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Suitable for few days, well maintained park.
Liked:- Quiet little park with many friendly permanents, Clean and tidy amenities, beautiful thick lawns for the nocturnal visitors to feast on
Disliked:- The BBQ we used was clean but the knobs were too worn to be useful the only way to shut it off was to turn off the gas.. Koondrook Council needs to replace these ancient BBQ's before someone has an accident,,

This caravan park is right beside the Murray River, across the bridge from Barham in NSW. At the time, no-one was permitted to cross to NSW. Unfortunately, all the services and shops are across the river and there is NO petrol station in Koondrook. The nearest are at Cohuna or Kerang, about 25km away. The managers have a casual approach when it comes to booking in. We waited more than 10 minutes for him to appear after we rang the bell and phoned. The park looks scruffy with grass needing to be mown. We paid $38/night powered ensuite site, which was grass and gravel. The amenities block is new and modern, with separate bathrooms.The camp kitchen was very rustic with a wood-fired heater.There are many annuals and permanents which looked rundown and there are many timber workers in the cabins. To make matters worse, we were told by the hotel and the general store proprietors that we were not welcome (we are from rural Vic). So much for supporting the tourism industry in rural Victoria. Been there, never again.
