Good laundry, good camp kitchen, dump point, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Liked:- Neat clean modern park. Evening meals offered to workers in cabins but tourists also welcomed. Dog friendly, Pleasant dog walking area at the back of the park near the dam.
Disliked:- May need more shade trees esp. in summer.
Local Information:- Chinchilla weir overflowing after recent rain. Lots of bird life

Another pleasant few days spent at this hard to fault park. Warwick & Lindi are keeping this park neat & tidy. $38PN 2A powered with seniors discount. Nice dog walking area near the dam at the back of the park with BBQs & picnic tables. Lots of workers cabins but all was quiet while we were there. Some sites now need ramps to get the van level. Free & extensive book exchange in the office. Amenities always clean & spacious. Chinchillas new Botanic parklands near the info centre now open & worth a visit.

As per previous reports. Workers & transient workers occupy a lot of cabins and leave very early in morning. Cost is $38.00 for a powered site (2 people) $34 for seniors. Poor night lighting and shower areas have no where to put soaps etc in shower recess. Evening meals still available in dining room. Neighbour told me they were good value for money. I don't think the price is justified and will stay at Chinchilla Showgrounds next time
