As per the previous report posted last month, however unpowered sites are available at $16 per person per night so that is a saving of $12 on powered if you are self contained. I also agree that the ablutions can do with a scrub, not just a lick and a promise. We found that there is constant road noise in the mornings before dawn, with tourists doing their things. Might not be an issue if you sleep with your windows closed. No discounts in case you were wondering

This park, which is designed in concentric circles, will not accept advance bookings. They say they don't need to, as it is never full. With over 180 powered sites, heaps of unpowered and about 40 "Dongas" for permanents I'm not surprised its never full. You can choose your own grassy site with shade or sun. It's about 2km to the supermarket, servo., bank and newsagent/post office. Apart from the golf club and sports club that's about it for Jabiru. There is an excellent swimming pool and licenced restaurant right in the middle of the park. Ablution blocks are all over the place. The nearest dump point is 2 or 3 hundred metres down the road to the east. It's a bit disappointing that a place as big as it, does not have one.
Friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $48 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, kiosk, disabled facilities, secure entry, no wireless internet available. carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. No playground. Clean pool, pool is shaded, tables and chairs provided, spa available. Suitable for a week or more.
Liked:- Huge sites, most of which are drive through because there is no one around you.
Disliked:- No dump point.
Local Information:- The Yellow Water Sunset Cruise from Cooinda is excellent for wildlife
