The Caravan Park is only smallish but extremely comfortable, quiet and a lovely place to stay. Also has a couple of Cabins. It has a fenced in large paddock at back to allow off leash area for your pets.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $25 for 2A PN, powered, peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, no camp kitchen, disabled facilities, van parking, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanents. No BBQs. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.
Liked:- Quiet and very pretty as overlooks mountain ranges and valley. Owners extremely friendly. I had good Wireless Internet reception through Telstra.
Parking:- Can park either outside the Park, or on the road inside. Check in is a house beside the Liberty Service Station on the Highway. There is a path from the C/Park leading to the house for easy access.
Local Information:- Town within walking distance from Park. Variety of shops including Bi-Low and Foodland for groceries and 3 beautiful Bakeries. Railway and Heritage Museums to visit, very interesting and a few drives in surrounding area to see Thunderbolts Hideout, Lookout over town and surrounds, WW11 Tank Trap, to name a few.
