The rating I have given relates to an ensuite site. The park itself has undergone some rennovation in recent times but is still in need of a good tidy up particularly the lawns and roadways. We stayed at this park twice in July and in two different ensuites. The surrounds of the ensuite sites are quite neglected and the ensuites themsleves are old and very tired. Lighting is by two small fluros which are missing their diffusers and offer inadequate light. There is no exhaust fan and the tiled floor was gritty and in need of replacement. These ensuites have not been upgraded in many years and for the price charged do not represent good value for money.

This park has just had a major upgrade . Toilet blocks are very tidy they even have bath matts supplied for the showers. Sites are large the only down side is there is no grass in some areas..Dry and dusty best take a look before allocation is done. WIFI was out of action during our stay.

Check in staff were wonderful and helpful. As a solo traveler I appreciated the free upgrade to a drive through site. Park is close to the city and short drive to the Zoo

Liked:- Lots of drive through sites that don’t cost the earth to stay in. Unlike some parks that often charge quite a bit more. Secure park. Dogs welcome and some in cabins as well.
Disliked:- Only the road noise but wasn’t a big problem
Parking:- 3 lanes to park in for check in
Added Touches:- Open fire near the camp kitchen
Local Information:- Short drive to Old Dubbo Gaol and must see, short drive to Dubbo Zoo. Supermarkets not far away

This park is showing signs of neglect. The gounds are not well cared for. We stayed in an ensuite site. The site itself had a concrete pad which was dirty and had a large amount of possum poo scattered around it. The ensuite itself was basic. The shower taps were not marked hot and cold, lighting was poor with one fluro tube missing and the shower was leaking. Worst of all the floor had not been thoroughly cleaned for a very long time and was covered in a grime from long years of neglect. Compared with other parks charging a comparable rate this place is very poor value for money.

$37.80 per night for powered site 2 people. Covid declaration emailed to you for completion prior to checking in. Staff friendly explained park. Women's amenities were clean but not a lot of lighting at night. Husband stated men's amenities could have done with a clean. There was a smell in them. Night lighting was poor. Garbage bins overflowing. The park could do with a bit of maintenance. Did not come up to the usual standard of NRMA parks we have stayed in.
