Average staff friendliness, no complaints. Reasonable value for money $38 for 2A, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites. Basic laundry, basic camp kitchen. Noisy, open & roomy park, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. No BBQs. No pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Not much, showers good but very cramped.
Disliked:- It advertises a bistro and tavern and shop..all closed, washing machines need tokens which get from office, which is closed on Sundays, can get tokens from shop which is non existent, we paid up front for 4 nights otherwise would have only stayed for one.
Parking:- Not much room to pull in and park while checking in.
Local Information:- Enjoyed Canberra and surrounds.

We stayed at this park on a powered site for a month whilst looking around Canberra. Found staff to be friendly and helpful and contrary to some previous comments, found tenants (mostly permanents) to be not a problem at all. Only criticism is that male showers could be updated - water runs out onto floor and nowhere to hang clothes. Close to heart of Canberra. No hesitation in staying there again.

About the worst park we have stayed in. Outlandishly expensive at 40 bucks a night (powered site 2A). Good sized sites and very ordinary amenities block and a dump point and that is it. Only a dozen powered sites but park is full of permanent cabins and sites of which most would not be out of place in a third world country. Obviously management is only interested in the money they collect from the permanents, not the appearance or maintenance side of things. A park to be avoided at all costs. We stayed at another park in Canberra a couple of years ago and it was not much better. Pity as Canberra has so much to see and do.
