$30 a night for powered site. Had one of the drive through sites which are seperate from the main part of the park. Amenities for the drive through area a bit ordinary as had no paper towels nor hand cleaning material.
Despite the above will most likely stay here again.

Stayed overnight. Site we had very easy to get into. Site has gravel type slab. $27.50 a night powered. Amenities very very ordinary. Unclean with no hand cleaning liquid nor paper towels.
The above made it a one night only stop. There are better parks at Emerald (68k north) and Rolleston (70k south).
A shame really as this used to be a good park.

The location of this park is excellent. The railway station is an easy walk from the park. There is a good shopping area (Lennox Village & Penrith Plaza) in an easy drive. We have used this caravan park everytime we visit our family in Kingswood. It is very advisable to book in advance as last time there was only 3 vacant sites (there are only 13 sites available for caravans). We definatelly will be back.
Friendly staff, no complaints. Good value for money, powered. Paid $49, reduced for Big 4 discount (also possibly pensioner & repeat visitor). Amenities are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Inadequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded. Basic laundry, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families.
Liked:- Location as shopping is nearby - Lennox Village, Penrith Plaza. Railway Station is relatively close.
Disliked:- There are only a few caravan sites and on our last visit workers were in most of them. There is some noise from the railway but certainly did not keep us awake at night etc.
Parking:- Only a small area at the front of the office.

Must admit when lass answered I thought I had wrong number. Very few vans in the park so I was surprised when allocated a site I would have thought pick a site and let us know which one. Site we had had concrete slab and driveway, powered. $37.80 a night. Amenities were clean although urinal in men's a bit ripe. Will definitely stay here again.

The contact number for the park is 0498 035 295. They didn't answer but rang me back. it is advisable to ring in winter when a lot of vans travel through this area.
Average staff friendliness, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $30 for 2A, powered, off-peak season. Paid $60, reduced for Stay 3 pay 2. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is reasonable. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by. Basic camp kitchen, dump point, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. No pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Greenvale is nearly half way between Charters Towers and Mount Garnett if heading that way and is a good overnighter.
Disliked:- Needs a good tidy up otherwise a good park. Amenities old but very clean. No paper towels in amenities. We didn't use the laundry as only there for 2 days/3 nights.
Parking:- Plenty of room either directly near the office or on road into the park.
Local Information:- Three Rivers Hotel, which is within an easy walk from the park, has good meals at a reasonable price.
Road Conditions:- There is app. 20 kilometres of single lane bitumen south of Greenvale otherwise road both north and south is in fairly good condition. A lot of roadtrains use the road so be cautious.
