WA, Eighty Mile Beach, Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park

Date of Stay: October 2017 Rating: 3.5
Enjoyed our stay here, it was a welcome break from the 40deg heat further north The park at this time of the year was only a third full, 80 mile beach is set up for beach fishing and not a lot else, however they do try hard to maintain the grass and keep it green, however it a bit patchy by the end of the season. TV (12 Channels) and Mobile phone (Telstra 3G) are broadcasted locally. Cost was $43 P/N 2A. The amenity blocks are sufficient with lots of hot water. Good for a couple of days more if you’re a keen beach fisherperson

Enjoyed our stay here again in October, it was a welcome break from the 40deg heat further north The park at this time of the year was only a third full, so advised to drive down a certain block and pick any vacant double concrete site, cost was $43 P/N 2A was also asked if we needed guidance to reverse in. cost was $43 P/N 2A Telstra was 4G with 2-3 bars. The amenity blocks are sufficient with lots of hot water; we have always found the staff extremely helpful with bookings. Nice big pool if you are a swimmer, Remember in the Kimberley use personal insecticide because the sand flies & mossies’ can be a little busy.

This is a great little park. Paid $38.00 P/N reduced for staying 2 nights. There are 20 sites. The regular sites all have a strip of imitation grass where the awning goes Sign say no pegs in the imitation grass or you will be kicked out. The rest of the park is red dirt. The amenities are small but clean. A reasonable BBQ area under cover and the above ground pool also under shade cloth was also fairly clean. No parking outside your bay or again you will be asked to leave. Sites will take big rigs and motor homes TV reception was good and Telstra was 4G with 2 bars, night lighting is good, place was only about one third full but it is October and the tourist are heading south out of the hot weather Was given a map of the town showing the highlights of the town, Apart from the signs the park is suitable for a few days

Sharon in the Office is excellent and gave great tourist advice museum, the grotto, five rivers lookout etc . Was advised of the park layout and it was suggested to drive around the park and pick a site we liked we was also shown the very large sites under the trees, that also had power and water but no concrete slabs, Paid$36 P/N 2A no watering of the grass appears to be done, so park could be very dusty. Amenities where clean with a clean pool BBQ areas. Plenty to see and do in the area and happy to recommend Park, again by the end of September tourist activities are shutting down for the build up to the wet season
