WA, Bremer Bay, Tozers Bush Camp

Date of Stay: October 2016 Rating: 5
Totally agree with previous report. We stayed here 4 nights checking out the wild flowers and the Sun Orchids which opened with the sunshine and are spectacular if you are an orchid lover. This is a great bush camp, with very good, clean amenities, a large and very good camp kitchen and Rob Tozer is a very friendly and accommodating host. $30 per night 2 adults. It is well worth it for the surroundings, the peace and the flowers during this time of year.

WA, Mukinbudin, Mukinbudin Caravan Park

A neat and tidy park with very good clean amenities and a great camp kitchen with a shearing theme. The Managers (Luke and Tania ) were leaving this week so hopefully will be replaced with new Managers as good as they are. $25 powered site 2 adults (10% discount for CMCA members). All sites are easy access and all size rigs are catered for. Dump point on site. Good IGA in town and a good meal to be had at the pub.

A very clean and tidy park with large sites and room for big rigs. Very good clean amenities, good camp kitchen. One washing machine $2 per load and a free drier. Now $25 per night 2 adults powered site, but you get a $10 voucher to spend in the Mt Marshall Shire (Beacon and Bencubbin). There is a dump point opposite the General Store. Caretakers on site and it pays to check with them before setting up during the peak season (Winter/ Spring) as they do take bookings. A good base for touring around the area with some good points of interest within easy driving distance - such as Biliburning Rock, Datjoin Well, and various other Soaks,Wells and Rocks which are worth visiting in the wild flower season.

WA, Bindoon, Bindoon Camping Area

Date of Stay: July 2016 Rating: 3
We did not stay here but had a good look when we stayed with friends in Bindoon. There are 6 sites on gravel outside the oval with power and water. Groups and Clubs can also arrange to camp on he oval. Amenities are for public use as well, hot shower available. Dump point on site. $20 per night per van, max stay 3 nights. Across the road is a well stocked IGA, chemist, bakery (very busy on weekends), fuel stop, hardware store, dentist. hairdresser and a small gift shop open at weekends. A bit further along the road is a medical centre, an Op Shop and a General Store/liquor store. This is on a very busy road (Great Northern Highway) and there is a lot of heavy transport but the sites are back from the road so the noise should not be too bad. A great base for exploring the Chittering/Bindoon area.

Popular well-maintained campground. 2 large grassy areas with plenty of room for all size rigs, very scenic. Great for families. Flush toilets, basic showers (coin operated). Several power poles spread around, the vans furthest away would need long leads. Water taps at most power poles. Dump point. Public swimming pool adjacent is open in summer. Kenilworth cheese factory across the road has great cheeses, yoghurts, ice cream and other specialty items for sale. Several shops in town including post office, newsagent, grocery store, pub, cafes, clothes/crafts, bowls club, fuel stop, op shop. Parking:- Can park in front of office.

Vic, Pakenham, Pakenham Caravan Park

Date of Stay: November 2014 Rating: 3
$39 per night for a powered site. We wanted to stay hitched for a quick overnighter and parked between the playground and the recreation room - no water but power available. Amenities old and small but clean, plenty of hot water. A small park with only a few tourist sites next to a busy road but not too noisy. Dump point.
