Large grassy park with 3 sets of clean amenities on a lake with lots of trees next to a railway line & road.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $32 for 2A PN, ensuite, shoulder season. Paid $28.80, reduced for Top parks discount. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to most sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, basic camp kitchen, dump point, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Noisy, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground, in good condition. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Dog friendly. Helpful, hard working managers (Jim) Terrific value. $28.80 for grassy older style ensuite site. Modern slab ensuites were dearer. Pleasant river/lake walkways at the back of the park. Not as noisy as reported by others.
Disliked:- Large park on a lake with lots of trees means lots of correllas & ducks. So there was some bird noise & poo. Also some minor noise from nearby railway line. Some washing machines/dryers took tokens while others took coins.
Local Information:- SPC/Ardmona shop worth a visit. Bulk buys at great prices

Vic, Bacchus Marsh, Bacchus Marsh Caravan Park

Good basic park on the side of a hill with terraced sites. Sites on the top of the hill are gravel. Sites at the bottom are grassy.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $37 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Liked:- Dog friendly. Helpful managers. Good spacious amenities.Close to a busy road but not noisy.
Disliked:- No sullage drains. Sullage running on the gravel made a mess. Sites in the grassy area had a fair uphill walk to the amenities.
Parking:- You can enter or exit in either of 2 single lane driveways. A second van waiting to check in would block at least one of these.

One of the few reasonably priced dog friendly parks on the Great Ocean Road (GOR)
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $36 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Paid $32.40, reduced for Seniors discount. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, wireless internet is available is free carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days, well maintained park.
Liked:- Good location overlooking the ocean. Seniors discount offered without asking.
Disliked:- Amenities were clean but old & males only had 2 toilets. Some sites muddy after recent rain

Hard to fault this park. Lots of things to occupy kids. Our ensuite had no hot water on arrival. After reporting this to the office Brett was fixing the problem within minutes. Rain water had got into a power point & Brett rerouted our hot water system to a different power point.

Liked:- A Big4 park that allows dogs. Friendly hardworking staff. Large grassy sites. Many permanents in a separate area. Indoor pool
Disliked:- Very poor TV reception. Brett loaned us an antenna to suit the area but reception was still poor.
Parking:- Separate check in lane
Local Information:- Allansford cheese factory worth a visit.

We run into some terrible windy weather here & were "forced" to shelter for a few nights. Park seems to be seasonal & would be busy in summer but was quiet while we were there. Glen (who broke his hand recently) came out in the rain & showed us which sites were available. Park now has a dump point.

Liked:- Dog friendly. Friendly & helpful manager. Sites are mostly sheltered with van height hedges but with 75kmph wind the van still rocked. Dryers were only $2 for 45mins. Water in showers was 10c for 7 mins. Ensures everyone get a hot shower in busy times.
Disliked:- Sites needed a mow, but we could understand this if Glen had a broken hand.

Hard to fault this park. Large park with multiple amenity blocks. Some areas are closed in quiet times. Small sites but allowed across 2 sites when not busy

Liked:- Dog friendly. Great location right on the water. Lush grassy sites. Good camp kitchen. Small sites but managers happy to allow us to spread across 2 sites.
Disliked:- We had great weather & extended our stay but if it was windy there would be little protection. Some sites at the eastern end of the park a long way from amenities. Boom gate tag used to access amenities.

Liked:- Dog friendly. Good location close to walkways. Close to town. Modern clean ensuites
Disliked:- Weird pricing structure. We stayed 4 nights & every night was a different price. When we queried this, the lady in the office talked about "dynamic price based on the number of occupied sites". Sounded like BS to us. Lots of shady Norfolk Island pines but their leaves block drains in heavy rain & roads get flooded. Staff were quickly on the job clearing them.

NSW, Junee, Junee Caravan Park

Previous reports cover this park very well. Dog friendly. Price is now $30/night 2A powered, reduced to $27 after Top Parks discount. Bath mats still supplied in the amenities. Pleasant nearby walkways. Chocolate & Licorice factory is within walking distance & worth a visit. Sites a bit squeezy if the park was busy.

Liked:- Dog friendly, Grassy sites separated by hedges, backing onto the waterfront. Tourist sites separate from permanents. Two sets of clean amenities but males didn't have a urinal?
Disliked:- No camp kitchen, 2 sets of oldish BBQ's. Some sites overused
Parking:- Drive past reception, then walk back thru the sharks teeth
Local Information:- Pleasant walkways overlooking Boston Bay. Jetty & parks nearby
