Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site. Reasonable value for money $34 for 2A PN, powered, off-peak season. Paid $30, reduced for Pensioner concession. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is bad / Variable pressure experienced, there was inadequate hot water, soap provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to some sites, drive-through sites. No rec room, no camp kitchen, no wireless internet available, mobile wireless not available. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Open space.
Disliked:- Poor lighting in amenities block.

NSW, Lake Keepit State Park, Lakeside Caravan Park

Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $30 for 2A PN, powered, off-peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, kiosk, dump point, secure entry, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 2. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Excellent playground, in good condition. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.

Qld, Kilkivan, Kilkivan Bush Camping

Cost $25 2A PN. A few permanents in a remote area of the park. Hot water is now connected to wash basins. Another added touch associated restaurant serves a magnificent 3-course roast meal on Saturday nights - $25.

Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $32 for 2A PN, powered. Paid $192, reduced for stay 7 pay for 6. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk, disabled facilities, no wireless internet available., mobile wireless not available. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Clean pool, kid-safe pool area. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.

Qld, Charleville, Bailey Bar Caravan Park

Manager's name is Wendy & Julian. We stayed in a cabin. Although a night bell and a shop bell were provided, there was nobody to answer them during the day. Average staff friendliness, bad staff response to complaints, staff offered tourist advice Poor value for money ($120 2A PN cabin), were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom, soap provided, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4). Peaceful, open & roomy park, plenty of shade. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- The cabin was very clean and spacious.
Disliked:- The air conditioner was not effective, and had to be turned off when the room was not occupied, this was January and the outside temp was 40 degrees plus. The TV reception was intermittent. Guests are asked to remove their rubbish from the unit and put it in the bins located throughout the park.

Tas, Wynyard, Leisure Ville Holiday Centre

Manager's name is Leah. The amenities block is unusual in that it comprises individual shower or toilet rooms accessible by key. The toilet rooms have a washbasin and a mirror. Everything is spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money ($30 2A PN, powered). Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, basic camp kitchen, disabled facilities, wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4). Peaceful, open & roomy park, not enough shade. Clean UC electric bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground in good condition. Clean heated pool is shaded, spa available. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park.

We paid $29.70 because of Group discount. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate small to medium vans, annex slabs to some sites, very few sites are shaded, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point, wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Quiet, claustrophobic park, not enough shade, no permanents. Clean UC electric bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground, no pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- Well grassed.
Disliked:- Sites close together.

Qld, Seventeen Seventy, Captain Cook Holiday Village

Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk, dump point, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3). Liked:- The newer amenities block was very good; the older block was 'tired'.
Disliked:- Although we were told on arrival that our powered site and our daughter's camp site were handy to each other, they were about as far apart as it was possible to make them.
Added Touches:- The takeaway food shop reopened on Friday after a period of closure. The Deck Restaurant was expected to reopen the following week after a period of closure.
Road Conditions:- Several sections of unsealed road are being remade after damage.

Amenity number would not cope in peak times, are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, hot water was usually adequate but not when busy, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, no wireless internet available, mobile wireless not available. Quiet, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, no permanents. Good playground in average condition. No pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families.
Liked:- Open space; bird life
Disliked:- No hot water connected to wash basins. Hot water in showers comes and goes.
Added Touches:- Free pancakes on Saturday mornings. Firewood sold ($15/barrow) for open fireplaces.
