NSW, Ulladulla, Ulladulla Headland Tourist Park

Date of Stay: February 2017 Rating:
We inspected this park and went to reception to gauge availability and whether our big rig would fit in park. Staff were friendly however could not translate how big we are to sites. Sites they gave us to inspect a small motorhome would only fit on. Another site was across two sites however accessibility to park at site and exit site was a nightmare. This park advertises as big rig but they are certainly not. Our advice to anyone with a a big caravan and tug/truck, fifth wheeler or large motorhome this park does not cater for the likes of us. The park is large and well maintained however no garbage bins. We have crossed this park off our list.

Qld, Townsville, BIG4 Townsville Woodlands Holiday Park - Deeragrun

Date of Stay: October 2015 Rating: 0.5
This park is under new ownership and new management. This once immaculate, friendly park is no more. Can accept Townsville is in drought however new owners/managers have run this park down. We were spoken to rudely and with such arrogance by office management. They need urgent training in customer service. Sadly we can no longer recommend this park. We will go elsewhere when we visit Townsville next.

Qld, Clermont, Clermont Caravan Park

Date of Stay: July 2015 Rating: 3
Julie and Garry the newly appointed managers of this park provide a very friendly and congenial atmosphere to this park by providing inspections to sites by golf cart, then assistance to find and park your van. Camp fires provided and wood and also daily bird feeding between 4pm and 4.30pm. Plenty of parking out in the street and large caravans and motor homes and buses can be accommodated out the back in the overflow area. There are drive through sites and this park is popular due to its proximity to the gem fields and prospecting in the area. There are 3 amenities blocks and although older they are spotless. There is a recreation room out the back of reception with book exchange and TV. This park is dog friendly and less than 1km to town. No pool. No playground equipment. No dump point. Closest dump point is in Lime Street 1.1kms from the park. The show grounds are closed to campers and only opened when this park is full. There are dongers in this park. Plenty of them. We were told the miners have gone, as mining diminished/finished. This park we would recommend. Nice and quiet and little noise from nearby railway line or the show grounds. You will enjoy the birds. There is little food out here for them and they are looking for food because of the drought. Give them a feed away from your van and enjoy the show. $30 for 2A a night for a powered site with water. Only one dislike at this park and this was no dump point. Well done to new managers at this park.
