this used to be a caravan park, but now just an area to stay overnight or longer. most sites pretty level and no power, but water available, and amenities ok. just rock up and choose a spot. its behind the first fleet memorial park which is definitely worth looking at. walking distance to the pub which is a good country pub. a bit of lighting. some shade to some sites. they ask for a $10 donation each night which we gladly paid. you should be self contained but no rules on this. the only drawback is its close to the new england highway, with lots of truck all night long.

Stayed here first time. Its not too bad. The camping area in on an old road, and its a bit uneven in places, but not too bad, especially at the northern end of the road. ITS FREE, so you cant really complain. No power or water and a bit of traffic noise. They just ask you have a drink and or a feed. the beers and wines are fine, normal club prices - about $7.00 per drink. The Chinese is pretty good and not expensive. Large serves, and delivered nice and hot. About 3.5 hours from Sydney so ideal. We will stay there again.

same as previous report. now it's $30 per night for 2 people, max 7 night stay. now you have to be self contained, or run sullage to bucket etc, and empty away from where you stay. huge sites. new managers not as freindly as previous people, but ok. a bit disorganised. still a good spot to stay.

same comments as per previous posts. very nice park, with exceptional camp kitchen. pool is very nice, but too cold for us in the middle of winter. we are on a different site to where we were previously, with no trees, so no bird droppings everywhere. in a nice spot on the river and close to the beach.
