Very friendly staff, no complaints. $40 for 2A PN, powered, off-peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families.
Liked:- Proximity to beach and river, close to town and lovely old cinema at Laurieton. Many birds and kangaroos abound in park.
Local Information:- Short walk to good cafe outside surf club. Operates from 7am.

Tas, Snug, Snug Beach Cabin And Caravan Park

Friendly staff. Good value for money $33 for 2A PN. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Liked:- The spacious combined kitchen and rec room with plenty of seating was very user friendly with the two barbecues, hot plates, microwave and two fridges and lots of tables and lounges. The facilities were very clean with fresh flowers in the ladies. Even though there were no concrete slabs sites were covered in grass. We had sites right next to the beach with delightful views. A lovely peaceful park and we were happy to prolong our stay.
Disliked:- The night lighting was poor in some areas.
Local Information:- We used Snug as a base to visit Hobart (about 30 minutes), the Huon Valley and Port Arthur.

Tas, Hobart, Barilla Holiday Park - Cambridge

Average staff friendliness, average staff response to complaints. Reasonable value for money $37.50 for 2A, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC BBQs fuel costs .
Liked:- Easy access to Hobart via freeway. Nice sized lots with artificial grass divided by hedges which gave privacy.
Disliked:- Showers were free but had timers. Camp kitchen was far too small. No seperate rec room.
Parking:- Recently resealed large parking area.

Tas, Launceston, Launceston Holiday Park - Legana

Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, basic camp kitchen, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC BBQs are free. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families.
Liked:- Quiet relaxed atmosphere.
Disliked:- Facilities looked a little tired. The camp kitchen leaked badly in heavy downpour.
Local Information:- Close to Tamar Wetlands. Easy 20 minute drive into Launceston.
