It was very wet for a couple of days before our visit so the grounds were quite muddy. Stayed overnight and was quite suitable.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $32 for 2A, powered, off-peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, no camp kitchen, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Noisy, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. No BBQs. No playground. No pool. Suitable for overnighter.
Liked:- Nice atmosphere. Ease of access
Disliked:- Trucks were noisy as it is on the highway
Road Conditions:- Good road on Newell Highway from Qld although a lot of roadworks and 60 zones.

Qld, Bli Bli, Riverside Caravan Park

We stayed at this park due to high bookings during school holidays. Not an outstanding park but still quite suitable for a few days to a week. Medium size shopping centre across the road. Key entry side gate to get in and out on foot.
Friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $41 for 2A, powered. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, late checkout allowed, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, van parking, book swap available, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. No BBQs. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Close to shops. Also close to a number of parks.
Disliked:- Some road noise at back of park.
Parking:- Turn right a Service Station just below the roundabout. Only a couple of vans at a time.
Local Information:- Close to many of the Gold Coast attractions.
Road Conditions:- Good roads from North on Bruce Highway then Nambour Bli Bli road.

Qld, Hervey Bay, Fraser Lodge Holiday Park - Torquay

Due to lack of availability we were put on a grass site beside a row of cabins. Power and water were organised by the park staff who went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. We got a special discount for accepting this site. Nearly half the park has ensuite sites.
Very friendly staff, no complaints. Good value for money $51 for 2A, powered, off-peak season. Paid $44, reduced for See above comments. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, ensuite sites available, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, van parking, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Excellent playground, in good condition. Clean pool, heated, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided, spa available, toddlers catered for. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- Two swimming pools. Camp kitchen plus other bbq areas. Close to beach
Parking:- Very little parking.
Local Information:- Beaches. Tours. Close to Fraser Island.
Road Conditions:- Good roads. Bruce hwy to Maryborough then onto Hervey Bay

Basic laundry, no rec room, no camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, dump point, secure entry, van parking, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Liked:- Good atmosphere. Walk into town. Very helpful management
Disliked:- Facilities while clean, could use some TLC
Parking:- Plenty of room off road. Large rigs need to turn wide.
Road Conditions:- Good roads from Roma although minor flood damage from recent rain.

Have stayed here before and it has grown a lot in 5 years.

Qld, Cunnamulla, Cunnamulla Caravan Park

There was a lot of work going on, the main amenities block was closed. Power was organised by the manager and she did a great job under trying circumstances. Still a good park to spend a few nights. The road from Cobar was quite good although a bit undulatiing.

This park is on the Barrier Hwy and next to a truck stop. Some noise but not too intrusive.

Liked:- Well laid out, mostly flat
Disliked:- Water leak in gents amenities leaving dirty floor.
Parking:- Minimal parking at entrance
Local Information:- Easy walk to town. a number of interesting places related to mining.
Road Conditions:- Good road from south on the Kidman Way.

Some noise from passing trucks but not loud. No dump point but one close to the park and directions supplied.

Liked:- Lovely atmosphere. Located on the bank of the river. Swimming area at the river.

Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk, disabled facilities, car wash, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Excellent playground, in good condition. Clean pool, heated, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided, toddlers catered for. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- All sites have dump points. Lovely Pool area and also camp kitchen.
Local Information:- 10 klm to Queenscliff. Close to many tourist attractions.
Road Conditions:- Highway all directions.

We were there as part of a Vintage Caravan get together so the park was close to full. We were also told that new managers are about to take over.
