NSW, Forster, North Coast Holiday Parks Forster Beach

Date of Stay: May 2014 Rating: 3
Average staff friendliness, no complaints. Reasonable value for money $34 for 2A P/N, powered, off-peak season. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is bad. Variable pressure experienced, there was inadequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, disabled facilities, secure entry, you can use your mobile, wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanents. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, bbq area lighting. Suitable for few days, suitable for families.
Liked:- Very close to marina, and Dolphins. also close to town.
Disliked:- The showers are operated on a push button system, which gives you a five minute shower, it takes more than two minutes for the hot water to come through if late at night or early morning. All but two showers were leaking so can not see the savings for the push bottom system.
Parking:- Parking on left as arriving, if more than three turned up at once, would have a problem.
