Very nice park right near boat ramp and beach, no swimming at beach due to crocodiles but nice for a walk. We had an ensuite site at $65 per night, newly built ensuites of very high standard but really need an extraction fan installed. New amenities block and camp kitchen are excellent. Nice but small pool at front of park, new larger one in centre of park is currently being built and expected to open late this year. Lodge in front of caravan park has good meals, currently under construction is a new much larger dining area and a new larger shop. Only negative is the midges in the area.

Just 100 m from the beach and boat ramp, though don't swim at the beach because of known crocodiles. Wendy the receptionist on duty that day was very friendly and helpful, letting us have a walk around to choose a site after the computer allocated us one that Wendy said would not fit us. Amenities very clean. Shaded pool very clean and LOVELY. Free bbqs but not undercover. They are building another amenity block etc in the middle of the park to cater for the unpowered section. Dump point. Sullage to trees. Lots of welcome shade, power and water to sites. For seniors it is stay 7 pay for 5; for non-seniors it is stay for 7 pay for 6. For us (pay for 5) it was $260 PW. 6 km back toward Darwin (near the school) is the sports and recreation club that has nightly meals and drinks. Good value meals. The Lodge of Dundee next door to the park also has good meals plus drinks.
