This is a great caravan park in a beaut little town which is suffering terribly because of the ongoing drought. We paid $35.00 per night, 2A with a discount for extended stay. All sites are gravel and are drive through with most having some shade. The amenities were very clean. The camp kitchen is excellent and there is a large screen television which does get most stations. Reception to caravans is poor. Yes, there are rules but most are necessary to ensure that the everyone enjoys the ambience of the park. If you don't like the rules, don't whinge, just go somewhere else.

Manager's name is Neil & Robyn Walker and Rob & Sharon Piro.
We found this to be a very nice park well set out plenty of shade, however; when we were there it was raining and cold - so needed sunshine. Park is close to all the sights to see in the town.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $30 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good rec room, good camp kitchen, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade. Clean UC gas BBQs. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park.

"You can't use your own washing machine," we were told at reception. How do they enforce this? Do the effluent police stick a colonoscope up the van's drain hose? The sign in the men's toilet says to use the mop and bucket provided to mop the floor post shower. I risked excommunication by showering in our own van. Am I obliged to do a couple of hours gardening for the privilege of parking here? The many drive-through sites are convenient to enter and exit. The night lighting is inadequate. Bring your head torch. Consider the numerous cheap/free camps on the outskirts of town.
$35 for 2A. Sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers. carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 4.
Disliked:- You can't use your own washing machine! No dump point. This is the only, very busy, caravan park in town and they are well aware of it.
Parking:- One rig at reception will block the entry. Do it anyway; everyone else does.
Local Information:- Do the steam museum sound and light show. It's very professional.

Great location to explore Peterborough and the steam world museum and surrounding area, Park is well set up and very quiet Only down side is the park rules posted around the park are worded a bit strong things like dog barks your out. Parks needs rules but a bit wordsmithing would be good

Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Peterborough is a must stop place. The night movie show, over an hour long, at Steamtown is worth the stop over. Other attractions include a privately owned motor bike museum with some rare bikes. The caravan park is clean and tidy with all the basic facilities. We stayed a week and got a free night. $35 a couple per night, All sites are drive through on hard ground with no grass. Telstra phone is 4G and the wireless Telstra internet is very good. There is very little TV reception, we had none. We enjoyed our stay.

Probably an average park, so a little expensive at $30 p.n. powered site. Watch the entrance / exit, its pretty narrow. Mostly all drive-through sites on hardstand gravel, DTV is poor, water is good, no dump point. Amenities are older but clean.

There was a caravan club in the park the afternoon we arrived so we found ourselves in the overflow area. $30pn. The park was well set out with drive through sites. Next to a large and attractive public park but probably too far away to walk to the main street. This is a clean and well organised park with a nice amenities block. We couldn't get any TV reception but had a good wireless signal for our phone and inet.

I have to probably agree with most of 2014 comments and the park is still the same. Great toilet/shower block, level sites, sullage. I liked the town, we arrived on Saturday then on Sunday thought we would leave van in side street to have a look in shops before heading to Adelaide, but it is nearly a ghost town with only the news agency and service station open. However, I have to say good on them. Yes, I would go back.
