A big park behind a high security fence. Pleasant staff. Crushed rock sites with a small annex slab. You have to park your van to the front of the site and the car at the rear. Very windy and cold each day. No shade. Clean amenities and camp kitchen. Dogs allowed on lead. There is a Foodworks supermarket near by and Woolies in town. A lot of locals hanging around the waterfront precinct. The Australian Arid Land Botanical gardens are worth a visit.

Have stayed there a few times over the years and will stay again. Each time we have stayed there, the park was not all that busy so there were no problem with parking the van onto a site. This time the park was quite busy which caused problems with people placing vans onto sites. Some people had no understanding of how to park which meant people next to them had little hope of putting out their awning. I note a couple of other contributors have made similar comments.
