A small council park about 1 km from town. Boom online, pick a site when you arrive. Flat sites, 10 with double slab, not much shade though but the grassy sites do have some. Clean amenities, separate outside-entry cubicle type, keyed entry. No hand dryer or paper towels. Small laundry, one washing machine $3 plus dryer. Excellent camp kitchen with all the appliances. $20 per night, stay 3 pay 2. This is for a powered site. Amazing value. We lucked being there for the Darkan Sheepfest on the park oval 200 m away. Locked dump point. The keys for the dump point and all amenities are in the laundry which needs a push-button code that is obtainable when you book online. What a great idea. It stops the bludgers from turning up just to use the amenities and washing machines. Had a whole bunch turn up at a Carnarvon CP to hog the washing machines whilst they had free showers then hog the washing lines all day until they returned in the arvo and then buggered off. Office staff did not know about it. More parks should incorporate anti-bludger codes.

Basic country park with clean new amenities and camp kitchen. Quiet. About 2km to town which has a pub and a few other shops. Nice countryside. The Rail Trail is right behind park.
