Liked:- History of the area is displayed on pub walls. Collection of old and well worn hats displayed on walls of the pub bar. Outside beer garden seems very popular

Parking:- Drive in and find a site no water or power to sites
Added Touches:- Some sites used fires for cooking. BYO wood Use of fires depends on any fire bans etc. Fishing available in the river depending on river height
Road Conditions:- Good roads to hotel property but once on hotel grounds area turns very muddy/boggy if rain has fallen.

Various free campsites along the river just past the pub, or in the parking area near to the camping area toilet block closer to the pub. Besides the toilet block and the pub and its facilities, no water or power, although you can shower at the pub's facilities. Beware if it might rain as we were warned by travellers before arriving and by the barmaid that vans etc can get bogged in the lower campsites when it rains as the clay turns to glue. Evidently, good meals at the pub, and I can vouch that the beer is cold! We found the information boards along the riverside walk informative.
