Being on the banks of the Bogan River this place floods occasionally, which may account for the appearance of the buildings. The amenities block was just clean enough with bits of paper on the floor. I did not find them appealing. They have a couple of sheds which are enclosed on 2 sides. They are called group shelter sheds, or similar. They have the appearance of a barbeque area. There is also a semi open building called a kitchen. It was rustic, if not agricultural and not immaculately clean. Although it was school holidays no one was using it when I saw it. Fine blue metal was laid on our very flat site. The site was spacious and easy to access and depart from. We had a drive through site; there are many of them. I did not see a laundry or swimming pool. There is a very small kids play park area. If you want to walk to town go through the back gate (much shorter) but its a fair step.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $40.00 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. No rec room, basic camp kitchen, kiosk, dump point, wireless internet is available is free. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. UC BBQs are free, dismal bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Basic playground, in average condition. No pool. Suitable for overnighter.
Liked:- You can choose your own site. Avoid grass sites in wet weather. Signs of bogged vehicles were evident..
Disliked:- Barbeques, amenities and the kitchen did not appeal to me.
