Great park, 5 or so Km out of town. Endorse all previous comments. The current owner/manager, Judy, deserves a medal. What a great establishment she runs. The CP is up for sale, I hope the high standards continue if new owners do eventuate.

Paid $33 pn 2a which is really good value. Stayed here 12 months ago and wasn't disappointed this time either. Great park, friendly staff, campfire each afternoon. The drive thru sites are separated by gardens of herbs and vegetables which you are encouraged to pick. Small amenities but very good and seem to cope with the crowd. Would definitely stay again.

This park is a gem. Couldn't believe it would be so busy and difficult to get a site without booking ahead. Great location besides the Warrego River with modern facilities, well maintained an a great atmosphere. The Park was booked out but they found a space for us.
$33 for 2A. Sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers. Carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4.
Liked:- Facilities were new and well maintained and organised a "happy hour" each afternoon. Very well landscaped which created a very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly feel about the place.
Local Information:- Only there for a night and morning so didn't explore all that much. A nice neat looking town. Fishing in the river . A great butcher shop well worth spending a bit of money in.

All sites are drive thru, good size and all have their own garden of herbs and fruit trees and hedges surrounding them. You are encouraged to pick all the herbs and fruit that you want. Very friendly staff with a nice location by the river. Only about 30 odd sites so it pays to book in advance as it is very popular

Park is on the Warrego River and has a great atmosphere. Most powered sites do not have a river view but are drive through and and each site has their own lawn and garden area. Judy keeps lovely gardens and is happy for people to pick her many herbs in the gardeners around the park.

Great spot. Ran out of sites when we arrived so we took an unpowered camping spot which was probably the pick as it looked straight across the Warrego River. Peaceful spot and could have a campfire with their wood.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $25 for 2A PN, unpowered. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, disabled facilities, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanents. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Liked:- Peaceful, could sit back and watch the ducks and pelicans on the river.
Disliked:- Not enough powered sites.
Parking:- Plenty of room when booking in.
Added Touches:- Pleasant happy hour with campfire. The powered sites have their own herb gardens. Plenty of water for campers.
Road Conditions:- Good. It's a few kms out of town, but not too far. We nearly missed the turning though.

A fairly new park on the bank of the Warrego river. Spacious drive thru sites with shrubs separating the sites. At night the sent of flowers fills the air. Very clean spacious amenities may not cope at times. Camp kitchen. Camp fire happy hour is fun sometimes with a singer. Only 20 powered sites so suggest booking. Additional un-powered sites at the rear of the park along the river bank. A really nice park with a charming manager (Judy). The park is a couple of K out on Weir road. TomTom can't find it. Its not visible from the road but a sign lets you know where to turn off the road.

A nice park, 3 km out of town. Decent facilities, good grassed sites, although only 24 of them, and a number of dusty riverside unpowered sites. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Put on a happy hour fire and get things moving each night, with a raffle for RFDS/Careflight each Friday. All in all a nice place for a couple of nights.

An excellent location with pristine facilities and friendly service. The herb gardens surrounding the sites and the facilities are a feature as is the nearby Warrego River. Campfire with wood supplied and green grass on the sites.
